At Aequitex, we are constantly working to make investing in invoices easier, more flexible, and more rewarding for our users. With this goal in mind, we are excited to announce the launch of our new feature, Partial Invoice Purchases! This innovative addition allows investors to purchase shares of invoices, enabling them to diversify their portfolio and align their investments with their financial goals.
Here’s everything you need to know about this exciting update:
What are Partial Invoice Purchases?
Partial invoice purchases allow multiple investors to share the financing of a single invoice. Instead of having to buy the entire invoice, you can now acquire just a percentage of it. This means you can participate in high-value invoices that may have previously been out of reach, or spread your investments across multiple invoices.
How does it work?
We’ve made the partial purchase process simple and intuitive for our users:
1. Identification of Invoices for Partial Purchase
On the Aequitex platform, invoices are clearly marked with a funding status bar. This shows the percentage of the invoice that has already been purchased by other investors.
2. Viewing the Details
When you click on one of these invoices, you will be taken to the invoice detail page, where you can see:
• The progress bar indicating how much of the invoice has already been sold.
• By clicking the "Buy" button, you will be directed to a page where you can select the share percentage you wish to purchase.
3. Reserving Your Share
Once you decide to purchase a portion of an invoice:
• The corresponding amount will be deducted and reserved from your balance. This amount will remain reserved until the transaction is completed or you cancel your option.
• If you change your mind, you can easily cancel your option from the transaction overview on your dashboard. After cancellation, the reserved amount will be returned to your balance, and you can reinvest or withdraw it.
4. Completing the Purchase
Once the remaining percentage of an invoice is purchased by another investor, the invoice is marked as fully financed, and the transaction becomes legally binding. Your share of the invoice will be displayed in your account, and you can track its performance as usual.
Exclusive Feature: 100% Invoice Purchase Option
For investors who prefer to purchase an entire invoice on their own, we continue to offer this option! As long as an invoice has not yet been fully sold to multiple investors, you can choose to purchase 100% of the invoice. In such cases, existing options from other investors will be automatically canceled, and their reserved amounts will be refunded to their balance. This offers flexibility and priority for those looking to make larger investments, while also speeding up liquidity for our SMEs.
Why Partial Invoice Purchases?
This new feature offers a range of benefits, including:
• Lower Entry Barriers: Start investing in invoices without having to come up with the full amount.
• Portfolio Diversification: Spread your investments across multiple invoices to reduce risk.
• Greater Flexibility: Align your investments with your budget and goals.
