New Requirements: Qualified Electronic Signatures (Identification Procedures)

As part of improving our security standards, all invoice sellers and investors at Aequitex must now provide a qualified electronic signature (QES). This requires a one-time identification process. Swisscom AG offers several identification procedures, depending on whether you are based in Switzerland, the EU/EEA, or internationally, and the documents you hold. Below is an overview of the available options:

1. (Offline) For Users from Switzerland or EU/EEA (Available only in Switzerland)

SRS Direct (Free)

• Requirements: Activate the Mobile ID or Mobile ID App on your mobile phone before your visit.
• What to Bring: A valid ID or passport and your mobile phone.
• Where: Visit one of the selected Swisscom shops that serve as certified registration authorities for the qualified electronic signature.

2. (Online) For Users from the EU/EEA

SRS Selfie-Ident EU (about CHF 9.90/EUR 10.57, excluding tax)

• Requirements: Valid EU passport or German ID card and mobile phone.
• Validity: After identification, you can use electronic signatures for 2 years without repeating the process.
• Availability: 24/7, in German and English.

SRS eID GER (about CHF 10.00/EUR 10.69, excluding tax)

• Requirements: German ID card or residence permit with available PIN for eID function and a mobile phone with NFC.
• Validity: 2 years.
• Note: If you’ve forgotten your eID PIN, visit your local authority to reset it.

SRS Video EU (about CHF 16.00/EUR 17.09, excluding tax)

• Requirements: Webcam, microphone, up-to-date browser, and stable internet connection. Acceptable ID documents are listed here.
• Validity: 5 years.
• Availability: Mon-Sun, 7:00-00:00, in German and English.

3. (Online) For Swiss, EU/EEA, and International Users

SRS Autoident (about CHF 22.00/EUR 23.50, excluding tax)

• Requirements: Valid international passport (country list) or ID from the EU/EEA or Switzerland and mobile phone.
• Validity: Up to 2 years or until the ID document expires.
• Availability: Mon-Sat, 7:00-22:00, in German, English, French, and Italian.
• Identification Link: SRS Autoident

SRS Video Ident (about CHF 35.00/EUR 37.39, excluding tax)

• Requirements: Valid international passport (country list) or ID from the EU/EEA or Switzerland and mobile phone.
• Validity: 5 years.
• Availability: Mon-Sat, 7:00-22:00, in German, English, French, and Italian.
• Identification Link: SRS Video Ident
